Dayne Batten is a native of Cary, North Carolina, and graduated in 2013 from with an MPA from UNC Chapel Hill. He used his time in the MPA program and at the EFC to learn more about government budgeting and finance, and how each of those disciplines interact with the surrounding economic and policy context. At the EFC, Dayne provided research analysis and support for the GA and NC rates surveys and the Water Research Foundation project to define a resilient business model for water utilities. Dayne began work at the NC Department of Commerce after leaving the EFC in 2013.
