Kim Tungate was a master's student in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering with a focus on Environmental Policy and Management. She graduated from N.C. State with a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology and Soil Science. Prior to attending graduate school, Kim was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya working as an agroforestry extensionist. Her Bachelor's degree in Biology was completed at Indiana University. With the EFC, Kim identified the important variables affecting the successful function of stormwater best management practices in North Carolina.
