The Environmental Finance Center's Annual Water and Wastewater Funding Strategies workshop provides utility practitioners with new skills and up-to-date information on infrastructure finance planning strategies and funding resources. This workshop is a part of the EFC's Water Management Leadership Program.

Topics

This year’s program included updates on finance issues such as rates, commercial debt and public funding programs. Particular attention was paid to the new organizations and processes for utility funding that resulted from the significant legislative changes last summer. The program also included sessions on communicating financial information to governing boards, crafting financial partnerships between utilities and private organizations and the financial implications and applications of smart technology.
