The 2013 SRF Workshop was a training opportunity for SRF managers and staff, covering key topics in State Revolving Fund policy, management and operations. Speakers from the Environmental Protection Agency and other Federal agencies, State SRF programs, water and environmental organizations and the financial community focused on a wide range of subjects addressing program improvement and efficiency, innovation, operational challenges and future developments affecting SRF management. SRF programs are experiencing a rapidly changing landscape of challenges from Federal budget cuts and Congressionally-imposed administrative requirement to failing communities and extreme weather impacts on water infrastructure. SRF managers and staff face new burdens and demands, often with diminishing resources. CIFA’s annual SRF Workshop offers a unique opportunity for SRF professionals to access the information they require, learn new approaches for improved program management, and share in the insights and experiences of their peers from across the country.
Staff from the Environmental Finance Center at UNC presented on Green Infrastructure Finance and led a tour of green infrastructure projects in Minneapolis. EFC staff also presented on Utility Pricing and Revenue. Click below to access these presentations.
