Participants learned about the options local governments have to partner with the private sector and non-profits to finance and manage environmental infrastructure and programs.
The workshop was sponsored by the UNC School of Government Environmental Finance Center and the Local Government Training Program in Political Science & Public Affairs at Western Carolina University.
Jeff Hughes, Director of the Environmental Finance Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, lead this program designed for staff and elected officials from local governments and for organizations that work with local governments on environmental issues.
