Panel Participation | Utilizing Research to Impact Environmental Policy in NC

Description:

This event featured a panel of faculty and undergraduate students discussing how their research at UNC informs and shapes policy-decisions of the North Carolina General Assembly and state agencies in Raleigh, such as the NC Department of Environmental Quality.

The event also included networking time with information on how undergraduate students can get involved in policy issues and lessons learned from speakers during their career paths.

Participation in this panel gave the UNC EFC an opportunity to network with other influential organizations and undergraduate students who are interested in public policy.
