BK Lee was a Visiting Scholar at the EFC at UNC in 2017. He is a Chief Research Fellow at the Korea Environment Institute, which is a policy making institute under the Prime Minister. He has been working in the fields of water and environmental management to develop water-related national plans since 1987. He has served in various administrative positions at KEI, such as the Vice President, the Director General of the Environmental Strategy Research Group, the Director General of the Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change, and the Head of the Office of Planning and Coordination. His current interests are the value of water, environmental financing systems, climate change adaptation, and public awareness towards environmental issues. BK has a PhD and Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from KAIST and a Bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University.
