A. Rachid El-Khattabi
A. Rachid El-Khattabi joined the EFC at UNC as an analyst in August 2017. He is an applied economist and planner whose research focus is on water demand management with a focus on financial stability, affordability, and conservation. He received his master’s degree in Economics from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016. Originally from Morocco, A.R. has also lived in California and Illinois, where he attended and graduated from Stanford University in 2010 and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013. He is currently pursuing a PhD in City and Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
