Andrew Waters comes to the Environmental Finance Center as a project director after working in the nonprofit land conservation field for fifteen years. An undergraduate at UNC Chapel Hill, Andrew received an MBA from UNC Greensboro and is currently completing a Ph.D. in conservation policy at Clemson University, where he also worked as a research associate at the South Carolina Water Resources Center providing support for the South Carolina State Water Planning Framework. He brings a variety of experiences to his work at the EFC, including organizational and financial management, grant writing and administration, planning, and green infrastructure initiatives. He has also worked as an editor and realtor.
