Elsemarie Mullins

Elsemarie Mullins joined the EFC in the spring of 2020 as a Project Director. She provides trainings and technical assistance for water and wastewater providers, conducts applied research on affordability, paying for nutrient management, the impacts of COVID-19 on water and wastewater utilities, as well as a variety of other topics. Elsemarie brings skills in data analysis, presenting to lay and technical audiences, qualitative analysis, scientific writing, spatial analysis, field work, outdoor education, and customer service. She completed her M.S. in Geological Sciences at UNC in 2018, holds a B.S. from Wheaton College in Environmental Science, and has spent time working at a children’s museum and a local start-up.
