Project Analyst
Emma Copenhaver is a Project Analyst at the School of Government Environmental Finance Center (SOG EFC). In this role, she does applied research into various funding streams available to water and wastewater utilities and helps communities access this funding. Emma knows that bridging the gap between funders and communities helps utilities access critical infrastructure funding that they may not know exists.
Before working at SOG EFC, Emma studied English and Chemistry at UNC Chapel Hill. This experience was crucial to Emma’s journey, shaping her research and communication skills and helping her find her passion for public and private utility finance.
If Emma was not working as a Project Analyst, she would be knitting, thrifting, and dreaming up new recipes in the kitchen.
