As part of its Innovative Financing Approaches for Stormwater and Green Infrastructure project, the Environmental Finance Center at UNC Chapel Hill provided assistance on approaches to stormwater management to the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) in Minnesota. The RWMWD is a special purpose governmental unit responsible for protecting the water resources of the watershed. The EFC helped showcase the success of the District to key organizations throughout the country and provided information to the RWMWD on ways that other communities have financed green infrastructure projects.
