This dashboard is designed to assist utility managers and local officials with benchmarking residential water and wastewater rates against multiple attributes, including system characteristics, customer base socioeconomic conditions, and geography. Rates data were provided by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, which annually surveys water and wastewater rates in all utilities across the state. The EFC compiled the rates data along with information on utilities’ system characteristics and community socioeconomics to visualize in the dashboard. The project was funded by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
The dashboard displays water and wastewater bills charged for 360 utilities.
