These data tables are one of several products (including an interactive Rates Dashboard, annual summary report, and utility rate sheet summaries) created at the conclusion of a survey of 2016 water and sewer rates and rate structures of 448 local government utilities throughout the State of Alabama. The data tables list each utility's residential and non-residential water, sewer and residential irrigation rate structure details as well as the monthly-equivalent bills computed at different consumption levels. All rate structure details and computed bills are current as of April 2016.

Revised 05/02/2017, now with industrial water and wastewater rates!

Revised 06/09/2017, correction to quarterly billing data.

In addition to the PDF file above, you can download the tables in a Microsoft Excel file here.

Note: Please compare different utility rates with caution. High rates may be justified and necessary to protect public health.
