Senior Project Director
Alicea Easthope-Frazer is a Senior Project Director at the UNC Environmental Finance Center (UNC EFC). In this role, she supports utilities to become financially sustainable and communities to achieve water and wastewater access. Alicea believes championing utilities and communities creates long-term benefits for those most in need.
Before working at the UNC EFC, Alicea was employed at The Aquaya Institute, where she executed water and sanitation research on the ground and transitioned to overseeing the entire operations of the global organization. This experience was a crucial part of her journey, shaping her understanding and passion for serving underserved populations and supporting staff internally.
Prior to working at Aquaya, Alicea was also previously employed at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, where she monitored water quality at restoration sites and the US Peace Corps in El Salvador.
If Alicea was not working as a Project Director, she would be rowing, making art, and learning to be a plumber.
