Senior Project Director
Alicea Easthope-Frazer is a Senior Project Director at the School of Government Environmental Finance Center (SOG EFC). In this role, she supports utilities to become financially sustainable and communities to achieve water and wastewater access. Alicea believes championing utilities and communities creates long-term benefits.
Before working at the SOG EFC, Alicea was employed at The Aquaya Institute, where she executed water and sanitation research on the ground and transitioned to overseeing the entire operations of the global organization. This experience was crucial to her journey, shaping her understanding and passion for serving communities and supporting staff internally.
Before working at Aquaya, Alicea was also previously employed at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, where she monitored water quality at restoration sites and the US Peace Corps in El Salvador.
If Alicea was not working as a Project Director, she would be rowing, making art, and learning to be a plumber.
