The NC Division of Water Infrastructure was allotted $100.5 million from the American Rescue Plan Act to allocate to stormwater systems in North Carolina. Of that amount, $82 million was designated as grants for projects that will improve or create infrastructure to control stormwater quantity and quality through the Local Assistance for Stormwater Infrastructure Investments (LASII) program, created by the General Assembly in 2021.
