Georgia Environmental Finance Authority Blog

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) provides loans for water, sewer, and solid waste infrastructure, manages energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, oversees land conservation projects, and monitors state-owned fuel storage tanks throughout Georgia. GEFA’s blog highlights activities and news around the state, but the issues are applicable to those in other states as well.

The blog is conversation-based, where IRC experts write about the challenges they face and welcome ideas and observations.

Stephanie Evergreen’s Blog on Data Visualization

While Stephanie Evergreen’s blog is not focused on environmental finance, it does deliver high-quality content on something very important to nearly all industries, including environmental financeintentional reporting and data visualization. Evergreen uses a research-based approach to visualization and design to help people understand complex matters in a comprehensible way. She shows her readers how they can implement these skills in their own work, which can be especially valuable in a space like environmental finance where the important issues can sometimes be misunderstood.
