The UNC EFC completed a statewide stormwater fee survey in Iowa, collecting and analyzing fee structures for over 70% of stormwater utilities across the state. These structures paint a picture of Iowa’s stormwater management priorities and can be used as an educational tool for communities across the state. The dashboard allows comparison and benchmarking of stormwater rates and select financial metrics.
This resource for local governments in Iowa is funded by the Iowa Finance Authority and created in partnership with the Iowa League of Cities.
The current dashboard displays stormwater rates as of January 2022 and FY2022 financial data.
